I would like to take at least a little of your busy time to congratulate you guys, you did a great job we are very happy with the finished product. People who have visited us, are just in awe with the shutters, I knew from our first meeting we where making the correct choice, and my guts don’t deceive me. Thank you very much guys.

My reason for writing this letter is twofold. I own two brands of shutters in my home. The first brand came with the house and is of a low quality. The second is a French Brothers Shutter and to this day works perfectly without a problem.8 years ago I purchased a home that had shutters on all the windows and doors with the exception of the large front arched window in the living room. I contacted French Brothers to manufacture and install this missing shutter. The challenge was that I didn’t want to have a support bar across the top for visual reasons. After the installer inspected the window and took his measurements, I was told they could do it and do it right. This new and larger shutter operates perfectly. It stays in whatever position I place the louvers in and is the most used and adjusted window treatment in the home. I could not be happier with their product.
This brings me to the second reason for this letter. The shutters that came with the home were made by a lower end shutter company. Since they were already in the house, I felt there was no reason to replace them. After a few months of living hin the home I noticed that one had to be very careful adjusting the louvers because they would not stay in the position I desired, and the pins that held the control bar kept popping out if not opened perfectly. I contacted French Brothers and asked if they would be willing to repair another company’s product. I was greeted with a firm yes. When I delivered the shutters, I was given a clear explanation of their control bar connection system and how it is superior. Since the repair of my broken shutters I have not had one problem. The metal strip with the eyelets in it is sturdy and keeps the control bar perfectly straight without it swinging from side to side. Because of this strip the louvers do not slowly slide to a different position than I intended. No more tiny pieces of paper wedged along the side.
I believe that not only is my shutter made by French Brothers worth every penny due to the quality and durability, but the repair using their metal strip with the eyelets made my low end shutters work better than the company that made them intended them to operate.

Couldn't be more pleased with the look of them. The radius on the louvers is just right. Nothing looks out of proportion. Heavy as all get out. Will need to make sure they have nice new hinges that are up to your company's work. Thank you very much for accomodating my desire to have the longer dowels.
